A Capital Wedding: DC Taste

Periwinkle has been using DC Taste for years to cater our events - anniversary parties, store openings, shopping nights, staff gatherings, you name it! So we know first hand who has the best cuisine in the Washington, DC area and exactly who should cater the wedding reception for our bridal photoshoot.  

 Some of our favorite hors d'oevres that DC Taste has served? Well, there are so many, but to get you drooling - the mini burgers on handmade brioche buns, gourmet fried chicken nuggets with dijonnaise, and grilled cheese with gazpacho. 

 DC Taste was started by Chef Jennifer Tye, Jennifer is formerly an assistant chef instructor at L' Academie de Cuisine, and cooked for three years under famed chef Michel Richard, at both James Beard award-winning restaurants Michel Richard Citronelle and Central Michel Richard in Washington, DC.  

  All of their selections are made from the freshest ingredients and mostly from local producers.  The best part about DC Taste?
